What started as a backyard game, is now one of the most popular outdoor games in the United States. Recent years, the game has also exploded in popularity in Europe. One of our ambassadors is Bruno Bocquier, professional Cornhole player from France. He won in Rotterdam during the Swap event with Ben Brown (American PRO player) during the ACL Europe Open 2022 and became European champion with the French team. We talked to him about improving your Cornhole game, tournament essentials and his partnership with ZÜCA.

Can you tell us more about how it all started? When was your first Cornhole game?

“I discovered Cornhole in 2017 and immediately enjoyed it. So I took the dimensions of the shelves and bags and made a game myself. My son Clarence also enjoyed the game, we played often. In July 2017 we decided to participate in a local tournament and we won. It was never my intention to become a professional Cornhole player, but I enjoyed it a lot and I realized that the selection tests to become PRO were accessible. In 2022 I successfully entered the ACL PRO adventure.”
